Osceola Medical Center, and other local community leaders, designed a 5K course in 2006 to encourage healthy lifestyle throughout the community, calling it the Healthy Heart 5K. With the help of its health care sponsors, Osceola Medical Center has been able to have a successful event for five years.

Proceeds from this year's event will go to the Give Big Osceola event.
